We are the specialists for innovative raw materials from oilseeds, malt and biodiesel. We have been extracting oils and chemical raw materials, which are found in a third of all everyday products, at our family company since 1839. We are certified and apply the latest processes in our production, in an intelligent system that uses everything plants have to offer. Our well trained and highly motivated team of around 120 employees work at our sites at Neuss harbour, Hürth and Marl with expertise and passion for the highest quality. The wide range of our oils with different fatty acids is unique in Europe. Malt flour – good seed makes a good crop. At C. Thywissen, we mill special types of malt, providing the milling and bakery industry with a wide range of products. Our aromatic flours are highly appreciated and used globally thanks to their outstanding quality in terms of content and flavour.
